The vari-fix adjustable height column series is the most adaptable of its kind.
Its dove tail base can be mounted to the multiflexprofile and provides a flexible positioning of the column.
Alternatively, it can be mounted directly to the CMM base.
Mitutoyo vari-fix allows free and unrestricted orientation of the workpiece in any desired pick-up position.
A swivel joint at the upper end allows 360 degrees of rotation and has a swivel range of +/- 90 degrees.
The extremely flexible combination of rotation and tilt allows any spatial angle can be achieved.
The positioning can be finely adjusted along the X-, Y- and Z-axes by +/- 2.5 millimetres.
